.NET Framework Courses Updated to .NET 3.5

October 16, 2008. Object Innovations has revised its .NET Framework courseware, available in parallel versions in C# and Visual Basic:

• 4112, .NET Framework Using C# (4 days)
• 4212, .NET Framework Using Visual Basic (4 days)

The revised courseware incorporates two main enhancements:

• Updated to .NET 3.5 and Visual Studio 2008
• Expanded coverage of database access, including introduction of Language Integrated Query (LINQ) and more sophisticated treatment of ADO.NET

These courses cover use of a number of .NET SDK tools, for which the .NET 2.0 SDK will also need to be downloaded. The location of some of these tools has been changed, and the updated courseware shows where to find them. The previous versions of the courses running on Visual Studio 2005 remains available

We've also revised the junior versions of these courses running over a shorter timeline:

• 4112, .NET Framework Essentials Using C# (3 days)
• 4212, .NET Framework Essentials Using Visual Basic (3 days)

The previous version of the courses using Visual Studio 2005 remains available. (The older courses have three-digit course numbers 412 and 422.)
