.NET Overview Course Updated to .NET 3.5
October 27, 2008.
Object Innovations has revised its .NET Overview courseware:
The new revision is a major rewrite of the course, covering much new material on .NET 3.5 and Visual Studio 2008.
The introductory three chapters of the old course were replaced by a succinct introductory chapter on .NET Fundamentals.
The course was reorganized to include chapters on major areas such as Data Access, Windows Development, and Web Development.
This course is designed as a seminar that includes demonstrations led by the instructor but no labs for students. Students
do not need a computer.
For more in-depth courseware convering new features in .NET 3.5 and Visual Studio, Object Innovations provides three-day
courses that do include labs for students, with parallel versions in C# and Visual Basic:
The previous version of the .NET Overview course using Visual Studio 2005 remains available. (The older course
has a three-digit course numbers 402.)
Shipments of the revised courseware begin immediately.
