New Courseware in Unit Testing with Visual Studio
August 5, 2008.
Object Innovations today released new and updated courseware for C# and Visual Basic developers
on unit testing using Visual Studio 2008:
Course 4106 is an update of course 406 for C# programmers. Course 4206 is a fully
parallel version of the course for Visual Basic programmers.
An emerging software engineering paradigm is test-driven development, where tests
are written early and testing is performed continuously during the development process.
Problems are discovered early and corrected when they are found.
The courseware explains the methodology of test-driven development and the use of the Unit Testing
Framework of Visual Studio in supporting
test-driven development on Microsoft .NET.
The courses are hands-on with five labs and a case study.
The courses are fully current to .NET 3.5 and Visual Studio 2008. They can be run using either
Visual Studio 2008 Professional Edition or Visual Studio 2008 Team System.
Also available from Object Innovations is a course on unit testing with the open source
framework NUnit.
Shipment of the new courseware begins immediately.
