ASP.NET 4.0 Courseware in Visual Basic and C#
May 26, 2010.
Object Innovations has updated its ASP.NET courseware to work with .NET 4.0 and Visual Studio 2010.
The revised courses are now available in both Visual Basic and C#.
A significant enhancement to the courses is a new chapter on ASP.NET MVC, a new Web programming framework
that incorporates use of the Model-View-Controller (MVC) pattern. ASP.NET MVC 2.0 is integrated into
Visual Studio 2010.
Windows 7 is now the preferred operating system (which comes with IIS 7), though the course
can be run on Windows XP or Windows Vista. The early chapters are simplified somewhat,

The release of these courses, which run on Visual Studio 2010, continues
a comprehensive update of the Object Innovations .NET curriculum to .NET 4.0 and Visual Studio 2010.
4240 is the first Visual Basic course we've updated to Visual Studio 2010. In general we will continue
to update C# courseware first, selectively updating the most popular courses to Visual Basic.
Please notify Object Innovations if you
have need of a particular course using Visual Studio 2010 and Visual Basic, and we should be able to
create the Visual Basic version of the course quite quickly.
Shipments of the new courseware begin immediately.
