Unit Testing and .NET Framework Courses Updated to Visual Studio 2015
August 11, 2015.
Continuing its rollout of .NET courseware updated to Visual Studio 2015, Object Innovations announces
the update of these courses on unit testing and the .NET Framework:
As with the previously announced updates to courses in C# programming, the four courses
we are announcing today can all be run using the free Visual Studio Community 2015.
Courses 4105 and 4106 explain the methodology of test-driven development and the use of a unit test framework
in supporting test-driven development on Microsoft .NET. Course 4105 covers use of the open source test
framework NUnit. Course 4106 covers use of Microsoft's test framework that is integrated into Visual Studio.
Two versions of the .NET Framework courseware are available. Course 4112 is four-days in length and includes
detailed coverage of the .NET Framework's diagnostic facilities. There is also
a chapter on interoperability of .NET with COM and with Win32 applications.
Course 4111, ".NET Framework Essentials," is three days
in length and is designed to pair with the two-day course C# Essentials for a comprehensive five days of
training on C# and the .NET Framework for experienced programmers. The revised course replaces the interop
chapter with an introduction to .NET debugging facilities.
Shipments of the new courseware begin immediately.
